If you receive the error mentioned above it may be for one of these three reasons:
1) You have a previous instance of SQL Server installed. - In this case try to
A - LOCATE AND DELETE THESE TWO FILES
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL1\Data\Unified\Unified_log
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL1\Data\Unified\Unified_log3.
B- ONCE YOU HAVE DELETED THESE FILES, RESTART THE APPLICATION and allow it to RESTORE THE DATABASE.
2) You are running Windows XP on a 64Bit Platform. Unified currently only supports 32bit Machines.
3) You are running Windows Vista which does not support Unified yet.
